Yess, I write articles and I'm good at it too; When it's the right time and I have the mood and when inspirations just flow. My mum used to say I'm a Jack of all trades and I continue the sentence by saying, "and a master of some". I used to and still get funny stares from people in the EMIT team when they ask me what course I'm studying. Well, you see, it doesn't mean only Arts Students can be interested in writing and publications stuff right? And anyway, layout and editing are both done with computers too. So the EMIT Uni newspaper came out last friday and the first thing I did when I got the paper was to flick thorough to find my article. This isn't meant to be a brag or tell-off session about my contributions, but its just the feeling of the sense of satisfaction you get when your story actually gets published. Naturally all people are born selfish. I was touched that one of my friends, Noor actually appreciated my article on Permanent Residency in australia and she told me it was a good article in MSN and it brought a sense of closeness to her. Of course, this kind gesture is so much better as compared to the sight of the EMIT newspapers just being thrown aside in our house...

I just found out recently that a Bachelor Degree and a Honours Degree are different and I have to attend two graduation ceremonies! I mean it sounds so absurb because I always thought that Honours was an extension to the current degree... Anyway the weeks are really passing by quickly and after attending the EMIT meeting yesterday, I gotta know that the next issue of EMIT Gippsland is coming out this friday or next Monday. I can't wait to see how my article is laid out in this issue cause I was supposed to help out but didn't turn up due to some last minute stuff. Today is also Michael's birthday. He's Helen's husband and sort of like my God-pa too. I felt so guilty I actually forgot his birthday but luckily I decide to bake some muffins this evening and so I dropped by their house with longy just now to take it to them. Okie, I'm writing off soon cause darling's having insomnia and singin to himself again... "Pe kak - Ah Choo" = Bird Flu according to him and he's singin itsy bitsy spider now too... (O_O)

I wish I could read the lyrics of songs instead of technical papers,
I wish understanding math equations were as easy as understanding song lyrics,
I wish memorising technical terms were as easy as memorising my favourite songs,
I wish presentations were as easy as me singing my favourite songs,
I wish, I wish, I wish... Yeah that would be a dream... Hahaha... I fantasizing too much...

Just received my "long-lost" parcel from my parents today. My dad accidently sent it through Ship cargo instead of by air 2 months ago and so it only reached now. I was so touched by the birthday card they wrote for me that tears started rolling down my cheeks and darling came in shocked, asking me what happened with a worried face. Then you must be thinking its so silly to put up pictures of balloons here when it's such a common thingy. But don't call me "kiasu" or what, I have only seen metallic coloured balloons here in aust... Len's got her's in red, pearl white and yellow. Kahn's a pretty cool student in our uni who is a superb DJ Mixer and he's always called to DJ for most people's R&B parties and sometimes at the Saloon as well. Hope he had a great party that night... Oh, I can't wait to talk to my mum tonight and tell her about how much I love the gifts, but before that, one little note to:
Ms. Oranje: It's okay if your life sucks or it's so boring that you wanna come idolize my blog. So what if you think my english is atrocious? I never said it was perfect anyway and NO ONE pinned you down with a knife forcing you to come read it. So piss off because the Tag Board is meant for communicating with my buddies and friends only!

A week ago, I was browsing through one of the blogs that won the "Best Asian Blog" awards for 2001 or 2002 I can't remember. It's http://xiaxue.blogspot.com/ and I have been to her blog to read it a few times and found her posts to be really corny sometimes, but funny as well. She bitches about her daily life and the people that revolve around her. If you're in for a good laugh or two, it's fine, though after awhile it gets a little unbearable with all those singlish in it sometimes. Yeah, no rewards for guessing where she's from. No offences but you can most often tell where people hail from sometimes: Malaysia with their mix of canto-broken-english and Singapore with their singlish. Haha, I used to speak singlish too, until I met my "Banana" BF here who speaks with an aussie accent... Met Samantha and Stacey in the uni's cafe sometime this week and we had a little chat, and I was tempted to take a photo of Samantha's handsome "son" ages ago. So here's his photo below.
