R.I.P in the arms of God, Aunt MaryMy mum just sent me the sad news when I got back from church on Saturday evening. My auntie, who had also been battling the same Colon Cancer as my beloved Grandma and Aunt Janet, had passed away on Sat 12th May. That same disease had taken away the lives of 3 of my loved ones already, will it slowly take us all away too? Since my auntie was the 3rd case, the doctor had warned my mum and other aunties and uncles and maybe even the next generation down to have frequent checkups as this could be hereditary.
Whatever it is, in a time like this, I wished I could be back home with all my relatives and loved ones, to be with my cousins, nephews and nieces, just to be there for physical support. It brings tears to my eyes knowing I can't be there. So in respect, I would put off displaying the Culture Night photos for the time being. You might see a couple on friendster or my gamespot blog.

Thank you ammie.. I'm sorry to hear about your friend's mum as well.. I'm sure your call made her feel better..
To lose someone close to you is hard to accept, nevertheless you know she's UP there watching all of you & family. Take care, Mel.
Think it this way mel, she is now back to the arm of God and no need to battle or struggle in her life anymore, dun you just feel happy for her?well, though u can't see her anymore but i'm sure like liliz said she is up there watching u like an angel :) that's how i consoles myself too ;)
