Melbourne Vacation, Picking up Len & Coming Orientation...

The last few days were tiring but kind of enjoyable with my having a kind of second holiday with my mum in Melbourne City. My ex's friend called me last wednesday night telling me about how bad my ex is doing now and how much he hoped we could be together again. But I knew in my heart there is only one person now and will always be so I told his friend that it was impossible for us to patch and that he(my ex) should learn to take care of himself, plan his future even though Im not around around to encourage and support him anymore...

My mum and I stayed in a Toads Hall Hotel which was kind of like a backpackers inn. We took a double room and the place was not too bad and right in the heart of the city too. We went shopping in Vic Market, Melbourne Central and tried our luck with the pokies machine in Crown Casino at night cause there was nothing to do after the shops closed early. I wasn't really in the mood for shopping and most of the things I look out for are special and meaningful stuff to get for my "BB"... Though he's gone back s'pore for only about a week, it already seems like a month...

Was rather pissed off on Sat at the airport to pick Len cause I had previously placed a booking with Hertz and it was only there that they told me they don't rent cars to people under 25yrs. They said different branches had different rules and Budget was freaking expensive about AUD260 for a day cause I was returning the car at the Traralgon branch. No choice but to rent from Avis though it was rather expensive too ->AUD180+... Darn, had I known it'll be this ex, I would rather have paid AUD200 plus to rent the car from Traralgon for 3 days instead; at least it's more worth it...

Shucks, orientation is starting in a few hours time and Len and I made friends with a new chinese girl from KL Sunway Campus. She was glad that we made her feel at welcome and tried our best to help her in anything she needed. Here I am bloggin when Im supposed to be doing my ISA newsletter. Shit, I better go continue now... ('_')
